Delay is common to many construction projects, and its assessment is contentious. There are various analysis methods for evaluating the causes and impacts of delay to the project completion date. Project parties may use these delay analysis methods for proving or disapproving delay entitlement.

In this talk, the presenters will walk through (and hopefully demystify!) the process and application of different delay analysis techniques and will also look at:-

• Pros and cons of different delay analysis methodologies.

• How can delay methodologies produce different results due to the many variables involved and the subjectivity of analysis?

• Selection of appropriate delay analysis methodology (fact is king).
