Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club and a very experienced Party Wall Surveyor. Richard regularly lectures on Party Wall matters and has spoken at the House of Lords on the then proposed Subterranean Bill.

As a practising Surveyor, he has undertaken many complex Party Wall matters, including basement construction. He was also been involved in a number of the leading Party Wall cases.

The talk is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the Party Wall etc. Act of 1996. The talk will focus on the implications of the Act for developers, architects, surveyors and adjoining owners on ‘Party Wall’ matters. Richard will include several practical examples in his talk.
