All the members of the CIArb branch committee are IT savvy and we all have LinkedIn, but none of us is realising its potential because we do not understand its power and how it can used to grow our businesses. There are now over 275 million businesses on LinkedIn, with 15 million in the UK and 2.5 million in the Thames Valley.

The fact is that social media is changing the way in which the world communicates and LinkedIn is 'social media for business'. It is the 21st Century networking and 'world of mouth marketing' tool.

If you are like us, or if you just want to improve the knowledge you have already got, then this practical series of LinkedIn Workshops is for you. They are designed for professionals who are IT users but are ‘non-techy’ and will teach you how to:-.

About Steve Mills

Steve Mills was previously a table tennis champion. When he retired from international sport he worked as a marketing manager and helped a couple of businesses grow from start-up to over £3 million turnover in just a few years. This made him realise he had a talent, not only for table tennis, but for marketing.

Steve also realised that the world can be unsporting. The player that has the edge gets all the rewards. The difference between winning and losing in a sport may be a single point. In business, a prospect types a key word into Google looking for a specific service and selects maybe three websites to take a look at. Only one company gets the order! The ones who finish second and third get nothing – not even a silver or bronze medal. Harsh, but true!

Over the past 17 years Steve has built a reputation for helping businesses to market themselves using his ‘Marketing without Money Formula’. Steve is now known as The‘Prudent Marketer’.Steve established his reputation by training thousands of business people in how to market themselves without a budget. He has spoken to audiences all over the world and authored three highly successful marketing books as well as writing articles for many leading business magazines.
