All professionals need to keep up to date with developments in arbitration, mediation and adjudications so as to understand fully the processes by which construction disputes are resolved, and so as to be able to advise their clients properly on these dispute resolution processes.

Jonathan Gold is a construction and engineering lawyer. He is a founding partner of Sheridan Gold LLP, a specialist construction firm. Jonathan was previously a partner at Shadbolt LLP and he has also worked as in house counsel, for Laing O’Rourke, Galliford Try and Atkins.

Jonathan has worked on a wide variety of construction, engineering and infrastructure projects in different sectors. He is very experienced in the resolution of disputes arising in the construction and engineering industry, including on PFI/PPP schemes. He has particular experience of adjudication, litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and construction arbitration, as well as alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation. He also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all forms of construction contract documentation.
